Here she is, in
good company, on the shop floor amid $200,000 classics! There were
some "wavy" areas that the first prime made evident: One, where
the tail meets the body, and two, around the Fenestron. While I
could have "straightened these out" myself, I took advantage of having
an automotive body professional, and taped these areas with blue tape to
show where I wanted the fixes done.
Below you can get a
view of the upper sliding door rails, even though the brass is
masked, as well as some of the details that have been enhanced with
aluminum tape to increase their profile through the layers of paint
that will be applied..
